Added T3 two weeks ago and now I’m increasing my cytomel ( T3) from 1x0,25 mg to 2x0,25. The question is when to take the second dose with all my supplements. Have hypocalcemia since my TT 6 years ago so I have to take it. Here is my schedule:
6 am- levithyroxine 100/75 mcg + 0,25 cytomel
10 am magnesium
1 pm calcium
4 pm calcium
7 pm zinc
10 pm magnesium

Thanks for the reply but when can I squeeze in my second 2,5 mcg cytomel?
About the calcium: Actually my functional medicine therapist told me to take magnesium and calcium at the same time and both my calcium and magnesium levels were totally depleted- of course! I did my own research and after splitting the two of them my levels are back to normal.
My dr said it’s better to take split doses. But I don’t know why? I feel that I don’t trust her completely. When I asked her how to fit in the second dose t3 with all the supplements she didn’t think it was going to be a problem and she had never heard about not combining calcium and magnesium ...
It’s only 2,5 mcg so far. I just started two weeks ago. The plan is to add another 2,5 mcg now. No, I don’t feel my energy waning as the day goes on. In fact a I feel energetic until around 9 pm as always. I didn’t experience any hypo symptoms before adding t3 either. I just want my tsh to go back to normal ( it’s high) and my t3 to be higher. I seem to be a very bad converter with T3 : 3,2 ( 3,1-6,8) .
