First thought: this is snake-oil salesmanship. 82$ gets you healed? Avoid such people - they prey on the sick with false hopes and remedies. If you have any thyroid failure partial or total, you are not going to get the failed bit back into action especially if the disease is autoimmune like Hashimoto's. Antibodies once in action are hard to put down. And furthermore if you have such a problem, then a prolonged and ultimately failed attempt to use diet will only make matters worse when you come to see the advice for what it is, because the disease will have needlesssly progressed further.

We see lots of publications (whether in print or online) by people who have health problems, and have done something to improve their health.

There is a tendency for authors with that background to take their experience and apply it to everyone. I can see in myself the tendency to think of thyroid in relation to any illness anyone has ever suffered!

Such writings, while perfectly valid as narratives of their journeys, are deeply questionable as guides for others. They might contain some interesting snippets. Even possible they could help some individuals.

Too often, though, they end up prescribing a particular approach which, however well it explains what they did, might be wholly inappropriate for others.

The promotion of their work results in a web page. Yes, that is just one single page. A page which is about as long as the M6. Is absolutely stuffed with every word that anyone might use for a search.

If it is about thyroid, it will contain the names of a hundred other health problems. Even if just saying it is NOT those!

Thus it pops up on any web search you do.

Sometimes there is a cluster of small pages as well. But all they do is serve to push you towards the really big page.

Sometimes the product that the big page is selling is a book or video. Or a whole plan with interactive sessions. Often there is also some amazing supplement. Or a piece of equipment you need in order to follow the recommendations. Usually only available from this one source. And there is virtually always an amazing offer if you buy it NOW!

We each have to decide for ourselves whether or not to read, to buy, to use what is offered. I simply suggest standing back for a while and not clicking on the BUY button right now.

I thought this was pure advertising from the start, however I told myself not to be judgemental, So I had a quick look and saw she claims

I have to question the “any other thyroid problem”. Is she really claiming that for those with glands destroyed by radiation ( in my case nearly seventy years) or those with glands partially removed she can suddenly results?

We can all decide for ourselves if we want to buy or not.
