I currently take 3 grains of Nature Throid and have enough to last another 2 months. Because they have stopped production, I’ve just ordered a supply of Armour.
Any advice on how to move from 3 grains Nature Throid to 3 grains Armour?
Should I take them alternate days? Or just go for it and swap completely.
Any advice or thoughts welcome.

I usually suggest that people changeover to a new make well before they run out of their existing medicine.
If all goes well and easily, nothing lost.
If there are problems, you have a safety net of reverting to the original product - at least for a while. Gives you time to consider what you might do, get a blood test, whatever else seems sensible.
I switched a few times NDT without any problems. Just take 3 the next day from Armour. It's so expensive, I would not want to switch back to it. I'm on nature throid too. You can take 2 of nature and 1 armour at the start and diminish nature and increase armour until you don't have anymore nature.
how did you find the switch? i’ve just started on armour after being on nature throid for 5-6 years i’m on 4.5 grains so it’s expensive. i was taking 2 grains of nature throid twice a day but as i bought armour in 3 grains i am now on 1.5 x3 doses per day. i feel it’s a smoother dose as in no palpitations or side effects. i’m going to be testing my thyroid levels in around 8 weeks so i guess i’ll see what they show
Are you still doing ok on Armour? Managed to order more Nature Throid a few months ago so that’s me just run out now. I’m doing finger prick testing tomorrow morning for private blood tests, then starting Armour. 😮
i switched back to nature throid as I had some 3 grain left. felt like i was reacting to the fillers in armour but could have just been me being over vigilant. I am having my 6 monthly thriva testing tomorrow so ill see how I am and then re-test next time I am on armour to compare! good luck with your switch!
I switched from NDT to Armour several years back and had no problems at all. Armour will have binders/fillers that NDT will not have which may/may not impact you depending upon other deficiencies that you may/may not have.
