Anyone noticing symptoms after Actavis/Accord change?

I've been having symptoms like fatigue, loose stools, anxiety and hair loss for the last few months and couldn't figure out why. My TSH was at 1.6 2 months ago so I don't think I'm going hyper. Could it be the Accord changeover? I had bad reactions to TEVA (face puffed up!) and Mercury Pharma (worsened fatigue) so I'm wondering if they've changed the ingredients from the good old Actavis. Anyone else had an onset of symptoms after this change?

Hi PirateQueen - I take Activis 100mcg per day. Over the past week I have started having palpitations. Not doing anything different so not sure why. I haven't taken my dose for a couple of days to see if it made any difference, has been slightly better but not sure what is going on. Would be interested to see if anyone else is having problems

That is interesting - I've also been having random palpitations. Yes, would be very interesting to hear other people's experiences with this Accord stuff. The tablet feels different to break, I've noticed. Doesn't quite feel the same. More... plastic-y?!

The ingredients are the same as is the factory just a name change so should not make a difference, its only brand i can take or should I say I have the least reactions to. Never noticed any difference since change last December

I agree.

If there is an issue, I suspect that it is a coincidence and is just a batch issue that happened to occur around about the time the branding changed.

I have definitely had a huge increase in hair loss for weeks now. I only checked my tablets today and noticed the they are accord and not activis (boots almus). People are saying they are the same and only the name has changed, but this isn’t normal for me. I have hair loss at times as we all do, but not like this. I’m definitely more tired. People keep telling me I don’t look well. My joints keep hurting and the brain fog is horrendous. I had to look at my driving licence to work our how to spell my name!! (It’s that bad 😔). Maybe something has changed and we don’t know.

There have been few posts saying similar to you

Yet the ingredients appear to be identical

Do you mind advising where I can find these posts. Sorry. I know it is a while since this discussion.

Thank you

look at 'related posts' .. you may find some of them in there (which may lead you to others when you look at 'related posts' that come on for them ) ~ on my screen it is located at the top right hand corner of this post , but i'm on a lap top ... no idea where 'related posts' appears if you're on a phone , or other device with a smaller screen . maybe right at the bottom ?

Also it's always worth trying the 'search HealthUnlocked' box (at top of screen ?).. it's notoriously rubbish on here unfortunately . but you never know your luck :)
