Wondered if anyone had any knowledge regarding timing of blood work for pituitary. I did a medicheck test for son along with thyroid check so followed the early morning with just glass of water prior to bleeding.
He’s now had two abnormally high prolactin levels and private endocrinologist is writing to GP to requesting macroprolactin test. If GP agrees then I wondered if anyone on here knew if timing was important regarding taking of blood.
