alkaline phosphatase

I saw my doctor last week and for the second year my alkaline phosphatase levels have been low. She suggested I'm not getting proper nutrition. I was just googling and it is associated with hypothyroidism. Does anyone know anything about low levels and what that means? I read it is associated with low levels of zinc, but I supplement zinc. My energy hasn't been as good this year and I'm having continuing digestive problems. I haven't been as careful about avoiding wheat in the pandemic and that may be a factor. I've been trying a little wheat to see if I can tolerate it. I don't notice a big reaction, but it could be more of a slow spiral down. I could use some input.
