Hi,
I wonder if you could take a look at my blood tests results:
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone [TSH] LOW! <0.01 0.32-4.00 mIU/L
Thyroxine Free [Free T4] 12 9-19 pmol/L
Triiodothyronine Free [Free T3] 5.2 2.6-5.8 pmol/L
I was sent to the endocrinologist by my family dr because of a very bad fatigue (even if the results of my thyroid test were fine). In meantime I was diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome by my naturopath. I started taking special supplement to strengthen the adrenals. It helped and I'm stronger now.
The endocrinologist decided that the TSH is too low and lowered the dosage of thyroid hormone from 120 to 90. After that TSH stayed on the same level so she decided that it is not enough and lowered the dosage to 75 which I haven't started taking yet because T3 and T4 were fine.
Now I'm not sure what to do. T4 looks fine. What do you think about T3? Isn't it too high?
I really don't want to lower the dosage because I'm afraid that I will feel tired and more depressed (I'm on antidepressant).
I've been on Erfa Thyroid for 15 years. I'm 68 years old.
