It is an interesting approach and one which, I suspect, could be of great value.

Although each of us has to make our own judgement and choices, I have decided to participate.

The government aren’t tracking this & our NHS is already overwhelmed. I’m hoping the academics can help, if not now then for future pandemics.

For those who are frightened, the ticky choice boxes may reassure someone enough to stop them wasting the time of essential health workers.

Something like this seems an essential part of managing the situation.

I was surprised that those suffering were told not to ring NHS 111, nor to contact their GP, and yet had no means of registering their illness.

Even a simple web page survey would have been something.

Anyway, I encourage everyone to register and respond every day, as requested.

Officialdom doesn’t want to know the numbers or control the spread, fortunately The NHS & academics do.
