Cortisol saliva test, please help

Hi lovely folks,

Just received cortisol and DHEA saliva results.

DHEA morning 305(80-632)

DHEA evening 42(8-145)

6 month ago my cortisol was low-normal/normal/high/high.

Does it mean that my adrenals are failing? Last week I went to a new integrative doc who put me on LDN to fight the inflammation. Would it help my adrenals? He did mentioned HC, may be it is better to skip LDN and go straight on HC?

Any advice would highly appreciated.

Don't go onto Hydrocortisone unless you have been fully tested to see if you need it. Using HC before you need it will stop your adrenal glands working altogether so you will need steroids in order to live. Being steroid dependent having adrenal insufficiency is a life threatening condition where you HAVE to take steroids in order to stay alive.
