This is not new since vitamin C has been known to behave as an antiviral for decades. Yesterday a functional doctor explained how it works but this came to me today from the Zielinski's who have contributed to summits because of their expertise in essential oils.

Google "New Zealand Swine Flu Vitamin C" for an excellent Current Affair Program on a family who legally took on the hospital to allow their family member whose life support was about to be taken off to have intravenous Vitamin C. He recovered. He was on life support for swine flu.
I’ve read that high dose vitamin C can ‘dissolve’ arterial plaques; cannot remember where I read it now but I’m sure that an internet search will throw up a lot about vitamin C.
I cannot comment as I only vaguely recall reading this. I would assume that if it dissolves plaque then the plaque is no longer and cannot cause further problems. When I have a few hours to spare I’ll go back on the internet.
I would caution against high doses of vitamin C - I was on a higher dose for a few weeks and it caused my ferritin to go over range. That can result in organ damage, which is obviously not good for us.
Unless people know what they're doing, and regularly test their ferritin, I think it could cause other problems down the line.
