My Doctor advised me to take Vitamin D before getting the test results. After few days (taking 4000 iu every other day) I am feeling down and tired. Is that any side effects of Vit D or just something else.
Private full blood test due next week though.

Before the results of which test? The Vit D test? If so, how ridiculous. How can he possibly know how much you will need?
What form of Vit D supplement are you taking - tablets, capsules, softgels, oral spray, liquid drops?
All thyroid related tests. Vit D included.
He told that almost all Londoner have VitD deficiency specially in the winter. That is why he advised to start a nominal dose before giving full prescription after results.
I am taking Softgels.
I think most people in the UK are low in Vit D, but we need to know the level and I don't see the point in starting at a nominal dose when we may need more, especially if he is going to give you a prescription anyway. Post the results when you have them and let's see if he is going to give you the correct amount.
As for the softgel, if it's Doctor's Best there is only D3 and extra virgin olive oil in that so no nasty excipients to cause a problem. Unless you have a problem with the actual D3 (it is from lanolin in Doctor's Best) then I doubt taking the supplement will make you feel down and tired, I imagine that is something to do with whatever your results show. I would have thought a side effect of D3 would be more gut related but of course I could be wrong.

I feel some stomach ache (inconsistent), feverish feeling but no temperature seen in thermos and sleepy feeling which not present before taking VitD.
It just seems to be "oil", D3 and the capsule shell. So it's a shame they don't say what oil it is.
Would u suggest I should change the VitD format or stop until I get the results around next week?
I can't really say whether a different format would be better for you. For a softgel then in my opinion one that has extra virgin olive oil and D3 as the only other ingredient is probably about as pure as you'd get and gives good absorption (tablets and capsules aren't as well absorbed). There is also an oil based liquid called Vitabay Organic which has no excipients but if it's actually D3 that's causing you problems then either of those won't be any good either.
Maybe stop for now, see if things settle down, see what the GP is going to do and see what happens when you restart.
Vit D give me terrible wind and more fatigue, you could try the spay on, you can now get a spay on in magnesium too.
You may be intolerant to VitD, many people are so cannot take it in any form.
What options they have for VitD then?
I can't take any and my levels are very low which I don't find a problem, I rely on summer sun to top up my vitd.
