Thyroid Levels and other labs

Hoping you can see all my results in the attachment.

Been feeling pretty bad lately and have just finished 7 injections of 1000mcg B12 over 2 weeks, and it doesn't seem to be helping yet.

If anyone can help interpret my labs, please help

How much levothyroxine are you currently taking?

What other vitamins are you taking?

Vitamin D extremely low needs improving to around 40ng/ml

Ferritin terrible -

no ranges on MCV and MCH

Is doctor looking at low ferritin ?

As you have hashimoto’s.....Are you on strictly gluten free diet or tried it?

If I had hyper vision I might be able to! Just type the results and ranges for TSH, FT3, FT4, folate, B12, ferritin and vit D. Nothing else will be relevant to thyroid at this stage

Slow dragon. Sorry for not answering question. I take levo 175mcg. I’m 6ft at around 205lbs if that matters.

Taking vit. D. My ferritin came up to @150 after taking iron for couple weeks. Taking b12 twice a week after loading dose.

Have not gone to a gluten free diet as of yet.

Looks as though I’m not converting t4 to t3 well.

I’d like to get my hands on some t3 if anyone would pm me on how to do that.

All vitamins need to be optimal first before considering adding T3

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .

Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)

Is this how you did this test?

suggest you try strictly gluten free diet first as well before considering adding T3

Only start very slowly with T3. 2 x 5mcg max and retest 6-8 weeks later

If/when also on T3, make sure to take last dose 8-12 hours prior to test, even if this means adjusting time or splitting of dose day before test

This is how I tested last time.

Well I got me some t3 but all the doc would prescribe is 5 mcg. Once a day. Retest after 4 wks. Hoping it will help.

Can anyone explain to me what t3 does to ft4 level? My concern is that my ft4 is above range and my ft3 is low in range. The doc put me on 5 mcg of t3 but left my t4 at 175. TSH at 3. I thought she’d want to lower t4 before adding t3 but she didn’t.
