When on NDT interpreting results is different from when Levo.

TSH is low because you're taking NDT, it's what it does.

FT4 also tends to be lower in range when taking NDT.

It's the T3 in NDT that causes the above.

Your FT3 is in range.

Results generally look good.

How do you feel?

Each grain 60mcg equivalent of thyroxine I think

No it isn't. Each grain of NDT is 60mg or 65mg depending on brand. Each grain of NDT contains approx. 38mcg T4 and 9mcg T3, very slight variation depending on brand.

Problem is going through menopause same time as diagnosed with hashimoto's. So although hashimoto's more controlled I still have similar symptoms to hashimoto's.

Treating my menopause naturally with Menopace for past 2 months. Make take a while to make a difference.

Still too tired and unmotivated to exercise and I know I need to to get better.

Already have anaemia and with erratic menopause bleeding every other week likely making my iron levels low.

Vicious circle...

😪

Have you got full nutrient results?

Menopace is just a multivitamin and they're not recommended for various reasons frequently mentioned on the forum. For one thing it contains Iodine which is not recommended for us Hypos, particularly when Hashi's is present, and soy - again not recommended. The iodine content is 225mcg which is more than the recommended daily amount which is 150mcg and easily obtained from food in milk, yogurt, white fish etc.

Consequences of excess iodine?

Iodine used to be used to treat overactive thyroid so can make hypothyroidism worse.

I don't have Hashi's so it's not something I have done a lot of in depth research on but here is one article to get you started and I'm sure your favourite search engine will throw up more articles :
