does your TSH need to be suppressed if you’ve had thyroid cancer in the past? Or can you have an optimal tsh... will my chances for thyroid cancer reoccurrence grow greatly?

Thyroid cancers are now graded and the degree and length of TSH suppression can be adjusted accordingly. This assessment needs expert judgement so you will need to chase up the surgeon or endocrinologist.

If you cannot go back to surgeon or Endo that you were under then research an expert thyroid cancer center that does research into thyroid cancer. Ask your GP to refer you there for a review.

Thinking on TSH suppression has changed so you need a review.
