Thriva test kit - help please!!!!

Has anyone used a thriva blood test kit? On the instructions after taking the blood sample it says ‘push the cap on until it clicks and gently invert the tube 10 times but do not shake’.

What does invert mean??

Do it gently, as they say "do not shake".

Just turn the tube up and down about 10 times, there is a substance already in the tube which is a preservative I presume so that the blood mixes. Shaking it can damage the cells, why they say not to press hard on the finger when gently massaging the blood out.
