is there a way to lower igf-1?

I have had high normal igf-1, and it's also been slightly over range the last 2-3 years. I've been checked for a pituitary tumor, and don't have one. The endocrinologist says you can have elevated igf-1 due to taking T3. Does anybody know how to lower it, beyond not taking T3?

Well, I know you can have low IGF1 if you have low vit A, but I don't know if the reverse is true.

But IGF1 is not a pituitary hormone, it's produced by the liver. Have you had your liver checked out?
