Afternoon,

I test privately with one of the online companies.

There are two difference between the two tests. One tests for T4 (& not CRP HS) and the other for CRP HS (& not T4)

Which is the better to go for?

The 1st Tests the following.

Folate *

FT3 *

TSH *

TgAB*

TPOAb*

Vitamin D *

The 2nd Tests the following

B12 Actibe *

Ferritin *

Folate *

FT3 *

TSH *

TgAB*

TPOAb*

CRP HS

FT4 *

Vitamin D *

The T4 test - or Total T4 to give it its full name - doesn't give you much useful information. It's the FT4 that is important.

CRP, on the other hand, is an inflammation marker, and it's useful to know if you have high inflammation levels.

So, I'd go for the second one. :)
