Welcome to our forum Lotus-Blossom and I'm sorry you have hypothyroidism.
There are many clinical symptoms and because hypothyroidism interferes with our metabolism, it can cause many different symptoms.

Hypothyroidism is classed as a serious condition if untreated. If in the UK, we don't pay for any other medications for any other conditions we get.
Blood tests have to be at the very earliest possible, fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24 hours between last dose of levothyroxine (which should be taken with one full glass of water and wait an hour before eating).
Next time your blood test is due, ask also for thyroid antibodies to be tested. If antibodies ae present in your blood you'd have a condition called Hashimoto's. but treatment is exactly the same but going gluten-free can help reduce the antibodies which wax and wane whilst attacking your thyroid gland until you're hypothyroid.
Always get a print-out of your blood test results and the ranges also have to be stated. Ranges are required as labs use different machines and so ranges are also different. They also enable members to respond to any queries you post.
Ask GP to also test B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate too. Any deficiencies have to be treated.
The aim is a TSH of 1 or lower and Free T4 and Free T3 (the latter two rarely tested) have to be in the upper part of the ranges.
