Many people have had adverse reactions to Teva brand. Ask to try a different brand and see if things improve.

Once you get it sorted then ask GP to name it on your prescription and then they should only prescribe that brand. Always best though to check you have the correct medication before you leave the pharmacy so they can replace it if given you the wrong one, if you leave without checking and it’s wrong they won’t replace it.

Treva brand did not agree with me. During the night my hands would go numb and was unable to move fingers.

Yes it probably is the Teva you have been given thousands of people have been given this Teva and have been very ill so I would put in a yellow card and go back to your doctor over a year now and I am still not back to normal

Hi, Buzcat how does one find out if you're allergic to Teva? I have this unbearable itching all over the body,

Thankyou

Kind regards

Take an antihistamine one hour before your thyroid medication. If it stops the reaction then you have an allergy to it.

My advice is se your doctor thousands of people have been ill on this Teva. And it can last for over a year a doctor said it’s the government to blame I have been waiting to see a cardiologist and endocrinologist for nearly five months but won’t need it now as I have had a heart attack’s be very careful this should be made public as our health minister etc are turning a blind eye

I have done a yellow card for Teva months ago, but unfortunately picked up my latest prescription this week without checking (doh) and have been given TEVA 😬. I have had night sweats and a thumping heart ever since.

I’m going to pretend that I’ve lost my prescription and get Almus/ Actavis back.

I’m so annoyed.

Teva has been good for me. No headaches as on Mercury Pharma and more energy.

Hi. I know this post is from a while ago, but I also have unbearable itching all over my body after taking Teva for a week. I also started getting very bad headaches and migraines with aura. I stopped taking it and asked my Dr for a new prescription. As Teva are the only one's who make 75mcg levo he prescribed 50 and 25, Accord and Mercury. Even though I stopped Teva a week ago I still have the itching and headaches etc. Hope they go soon. Just thought you might find this useful to know. How are you getting on after stopping Teva?
