I'm going back again tomorrow

I rang my gp office today for copy of thyroid function test results after stopping carbimazole for 10 weeks. I'm told by receptionist my thyroid function test shows an abnormality "but gp has seen them and doesn't need to see you ". I went in to get copies and I'm asked " have you had consultation and have you seen the doctor since and Sorry my computer isn't working". Funny that.

Some misunderstanding between GP and receptionist? Unless the abnormality was expected there may be a need to see the GP and the GP may want to keep the results until you are seen.

Computers do crash but also a wonderful excuse.

No misunderstanding. This was a different receptionist to the one i'd spoken to on the phone an hour earlier. This other one appeared to have a broken computer and thats that. Regards.
