Hashimoto progression

I am a 40 year old male from Canada. I was diagnosed about a year ago with a TSH of 12.

I was started on 50mcg.

Every month or so I have needed to increase my dosage. At one point I started having severe breathing difficulties which only improved when I added T3.

I am now taking 137mcg of T4 and 7.5 mcg of T3 daily.

I have never gone more than 4 weeks without needing a small increase.

My question is....will the need to keep increasing ever stop? Is my progression normal?

Hard to say anything without seeing your current test results, presumably your levels are being tested before any increases?

Please post results, including reference ranges, for

TSH

Free T4

Free T3

Thyroid antibodies

Vit D (include unit of measurement)

B12 (include unit of measurement)

Folate

Ferritin
