Best way to loose weight is to get thyroid and vitamins optimal

Can see from previous posts you take NDT

Are you considering Levothyroxine plus T3?

When were vitamins last tested? Vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 need to be optimal

As you have Hashimoto's Are you on strictly gluten free diet?

Is Slimming world low fat high carb?

Hashimoto's we often need low carb, strictly no gluten and lots of good fats and lots of good protein

You need to wait 6-8 weeks after any change in dose before testing thyroid levels

Every time we eat any gluten it takes weeks to recover

chriskresser.com/the-gluten...

Even worse, the immune response to gluten can last up to 6 months each time you eat it. This explains why it is critical to eliminate gluten completely from your diet if you have AITD. There’s no “80/20” rule when it comes to gluten. Being “mostly” gluten-free isn’t going to cut it. If you’re gluten intolerant, you have to be 100% gluten-free to prevent immune destruction of your thyroid.

No, but i’ve been doing keto and intermittent fasting and have managed to lose a stone in a month using Dr Jason Fung!/ Diabetes Code and Obesity code books. When i’ve tried almost every diet going and nothing Worked. He has a FB Group too. Sadly i’ve Recently been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer which is ironic since i’ve Never felt better since being diagnosed with Hashimotos and TED.

Thank you. It’s been a 7 year journey with thyroid disease and TED too, following losing my husband to bowel cancer in 2012. Only felt better this last 18 months with the addition of T3 (I am heterozygous for DIO2 gene). Only remaining issue was weight loss and waiting for eye op for lid lag. Got date for op and started keto/IF and then got cancer diagnosis! Felt so unfair as I feel so well!!! Will have breast op shortly and then eye op on 1st July. Oh well back to the drawing board and yet another challenge to deal with.

Yes, I lost a stone in weight. Had tried many other diets unsuccessfully and did not feel well on the ketogenic diet. Now if I find I am putting on a few pounds, just put myself back on the slimming world regime for a fortnight and all is ok! Good luck try it.

How much Levothyroxine are you currently taking?

TSH should be under one and FT4 in top third of range.

All vitamins optimal too

If FT3 remains low after getting levothyroxine dose high enough (usually somewhere between 100mcg and 200mcg) then will need addition of small dose of T3
