Could you help review my results?

I have finally managed to get a copy of my results from the Dr's. Would someone help me with the results please?

I am currently on 125mcg of Levothyroxine. I have maxed up my vitamin intake, Vit D, B12 K2, Iron, Folic Acid, I have also started taking T3 12.5mcg taken in two doses a day.

My fatigue is still crippling, my weight hasn't shifted, I have been tested for Coeliac and continue on a gluten free regime. I am active every day, walking at least an hour every day after work, active most evenings and I am just at a loss as to why I still feel crappy??

Range ()

TSH 0.05 miu/L (0.3 - 5.5)

Serum Free T4 16.1 pmol/L (12.0 - 22.0)

Serum Free triiodothyronine 4.2 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8)

Serum thyroid peroxidase antibody 65ku/L (34.0)

Coeliac 0.5 ku/L (0.0 - 5.0)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi do you take selenium, zinc and magnesium too? I have hashimotos or autoimmune and have recently added magnesium at night to my regime. I don't take t3 yet but may need to add it in the future. Zinc and magnesium help the body convert t4 to t3 is my understanding and also helps with muscle/joint pain etc. I'm finding the magnesium thus far to be helping having added it in I find I'm not so exhausted, even manAged a bike ride the other day! I take the citrate version which appArently can act as a mild laxative. I've also lost 2lbs this week.

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. Last Levothyroxine dose should be 24 hours prior to test, (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw). This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)

If/when also on T3, make sure to take last dose 8-12 hours prior to test, even if this means adjusting time or splitting of dose day before test

Is this how you did your tests?

You need to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Privately if necessary
