New blood tests

So my thyroid went back overactive and am now on 15mg carbimazole t4 was at 49 so 1 month on carbimazole my new levels are

TSH <0.5 min/L [0.27-4.2]

T4 15.6 pmol/L [12.0-22.0]

Serum free triiodothyronine level 4.9 pmol/L [3.1-6.8]

They have never mentioned either, just say it’s overactive thyroid, I’ve always wondered if I had one of those but not really sure of the difference. I’d been off my tablets for 18 months due to being in remission then it came back 😓

Graves disease can also go up and down, as mine did - well it went down so they prescribed Thyroxine and then then went up (so now on Carbimazole). I was told this was a rarer form of the disease, but who knows! I've also spoken to people who were in remission and then it returned. Hey-ho
