Hi just want people to know about my experience from day one didn't feel right on levothyroxine going doctors to no help whatever going hospital no help lost over half my body weigh infection of yeast and possibly other had to look into it more was having reaction to iodine that I noticed started to become deficient zinc from white spot on nail no matter what I done nothing help was getting sick rapidly but what the dirty makers of the tablet have done as they give half the hormone not all seems a bit strange and price my ass, what happens is iodine builds up in your tissues had to find that out my self anyway what is curing me is tea as it contains fluoride on the periodic table fluoride gets iodine out was never a tea or coffee drinker but not just as simple as that had to go back to the diet in the Bible Genesis fruits vegetables especially carrots as you need if zinc deficient nuts and seeds plus apple cider vinegar for stomach acid and red meat for b vitamins also coco powder for magnesium and potassium and copper to get their poison out and grains but ever since I am slowly getting my health back no salt avoid all iodine plenty of tea or coffee eat your food and apple cider vinegar its hard not easy but our health is more important

Thanks for sharing Me1331 glad you're on the mend! ☺️ Curious, was it a black tea or chamomile or which that helped you?

It was ordinary black tea with coco and I had my mercury removed so their could be a link and copper seems to get metals out but notice for some reason tea I would put it down logically in my head something doesn't add up if I take a med that shuts down thyroid and it uses the half hormone instead then the vitamins and minerals which are absorbed I would guess are not doing in the thyroid what they are supposed to and iodine seems to make things like torture for me so what could that be but so looked into how to get iodine out the government used to give people fluoride to get iodine out and its in tea that explained why I felt a little better when I took tea and I never drank before much ,why would my body suddenly go crazy and immune when I take iodine as it never before taking the tablet but I also think the metals play a part how and what do they know would keep you on the tablet for life remember give your body what it needs and it will always heal itself so their horsecrap they come out with and half the hormone why would anyone give just half if your body produce all and make something that is natural impossible for people if it help a little is that not good it all natural I think a bigger picture

Thank you for this !! I've heard how bad it is to get heavy metals out - please be careful & look into Nac supplement. Regardless of what is being pulled out it helps keep your bodys master antioxidant GLUTATHIONE up . I take 600mg daily as I had many injuries over the years ( car accidents /falls) and of course took pain killers , by default it helps me w heavy metals .

Thanks boohbette I will check it out I suppose it can be tricky if your thyroid doesn't work properly the Dr Isabella I was looking in to her also she was the one about the removal of mercury and to nourish the body but I also looked into copper as well as it seems to bind metals and at the same time its needed by the body so that's why the coco powder also high magnesium so I suppose good for stress lol

Mmmm .... interesting!

There were reports a while ago that fluoride is unhelpful for conversion!

fluoride supresses thyroid function, and there are studies to show that areas of the UK with fluoride added to their water such as the West midlands have higher cases of thyroid problems than non fluorinated areas such as Manchester. I would say the reason for you not being well would be taking iodine as this should be avoided at all cost with hashimotos

Yes it does my friend like mercury and illuminim which seems to be in tablets also for some curious reason is that to keep you on ,? And mercury in the teeth ,? But also there is a difference in fluoride in the tea to which is an essential mineral to the fluoride in the water check out YouTube homeopathic calc flyer which can't remember the guys name but explains it very well

Thanks for your post, it's really interesting. Is the tea you drink regular black tea? Also, do you supplement for the vitamin and mineral deficiencies? I'd like to buy a supplement I can take with my breakfast or lunch but don't know which one to choose. At the moment, I take them all separately which is tiresome remembering them every time I eat. No GP or consultant has ever told me about the vitamin and mineral deficiencies or about the low stomach acid with an under active thyroid which makes me so angry that they left me to rot.

I agree, I wish doctors would check vitamins and minerals - I don’t think it can be part of their training though. Running a body without its essential nutrients is kind of like trying to run a car without oil isn’t it.

Sorting that out, getting their patients on a good diet and getting them exercising might even reduce costs of other meds they prescribe for their patients.

I think you’re better with individual supplements even if it is annoying - I do a fingerprick test regularly so that I don’t take any supplements that my body doesn’t need. That way if one is high I just cut back. You can get some good multi B vitamins - I used to take B12 on its own but the combination I’m using seems ok, I also take a combined D3 and K2 which has some magnesium in it.

GPs are not dieticians. One GP told me that she prefers people to get their vits and mins from food. My folate level was down below 3 at the time. I have Hashimoto’s, don’t absorb the good things well, just like you. The one thing I can eat for iron is liver, although I don’t eat it too often.

I think we just have to learn to help ourselves.

This forum is very informative.

It seems in general, GPs are good at what they know, and you’re stuffed if you’re suffering with a health problem that they don’t know much about.

Hi josta I was also left so I had to look in at the minute I only add the d supplement and mix my tea which was just black first but also trying the green tea with coco powder but there is defo link their but I also had my fillings removed as I came across a Dr on YouTube to get of the tablet you also have to get the metal removed so its slow for me but defo improvement all clean diet no iodine just red meat no salt nuts seeds grains fruit apple cider vinegar and the tea each meal with coco powder

I have no idea what you are saying here as there is no punctuation so you can't tell which bits go together.
