Began taking Methimazole for 4 weeks at 15 mg (doc wanted 20 mg but I insisted lower dose first). Med started working within a week and was 80% better by week 3. Now I’m on week 4, I woke up yesterday morning with pain in my left hip and thigh area. It progressed to excruciating pain by evening. It’s been 24+ hours and still crippling pain. Can’t stand up without horrible, horrible pain. I stopped the meds immedately. When will pain subside?
