Thyroid head?

I take a T3 (15mcgs 3 x daily) T4 combination (125mcgs). I am also on 50mg Flecainide and 1.25 Bisoprolol. T4 alone did not work for me and I had debilitating syptoms. I am left with a blown up head, worse in mornings. I do get energy swings but I am guessing that is the condition we live with! I am envious of those that can take T4 and feel well all the time.

Some say the brand of Levo/Lio can make a difference. My T4 is NorthStar Actavis, T4 is Morningside Healthcare.

Has anyone had such side effects and had positive results by switching brand?

Or do I suspect the other drugs I am on?

Do you mean 3 x 15mcg T3

Or 15mcg T3 per day (3 x 5mcg)

Betablockers could be causing your 'thyroid' head. Do you need to take them for another condition? If so, could your doctor let you try an alternative to see if it helps?
