URGENT! Please Help! I have a private prescription for T3 Liothyronine

Hi All

Please can someone private message me and tell me where I can get Liothyronine T3 (25mcg) from. I have a private prescription and have had no luck trying to obtain it.

Someone who has information will send you a private message and it will be much easier with a Private Prescription. Have you enquired through one of the main pharmacists (i.e. boots etc) but it might be too expensive in the UK.

I have tried Alium Medical but they didn't have it. I will try Boots but I'm not that hopeful. I was told I could buy it anywhere in Europe but that doesn't really help me. Apparently there is a German website that do it.

I agree it would be easier with a prescription for 20mcg, as German Thybon20Henning is 20mcg and easy to buy online. (Till Brexit anyway) It comes in packs of 50 or 100 tablets. French T3 Cynomel is prescription only, 25 mcg. I've spent ages trying to find a French online pharmacy that sells it, without success. I did manage to buy some over the counter in France though.

What is the name of the German website and is it in English? My Endo is issuing a new script.

The ones I used have recently stopped selling it but I'm now planning to use Bennewitz pharmacy, mentioned on the Thyroid UK site. It's in English. You have to post your prescription to them.
