T3 from Mexico

Hi everyone. I am here on behalf of my wife to try and find a list of reliable suppliers of the best kind of T3 available to order. If anyone can PM me the details of overseas suppliers (thinking Mexico and Canada?) they have had a good experience and good results with, I would be eternally grateful.

We don't have a list of suppliers although members of the Admin team do get feedback on suppliers that members use so you can always check with one of the Admin team about any suppliers that you hear of.

The T3 usually available from Mexico - Grossman Cynomel - is currently unavailable due to production delays and it's not known when or if it will become available again.

I am unaware of being able to obtain T3 from Canada.

Members are more likely to respond to your request as a new member if you post details about your wife's thyroid journey, her latest test results (with reference ranges) and say what thyroid replacement she currently takes.

My wife has Hashimoto's and has been taking desiccated T3 with T4 - it's the natural stuff derived from pig thyroid I believe. The synthetic T3 suits her much better as it seems to be better regulated or the doses are more accurate.

It may be the case that she does better with synthetics, some people seem to do better on one form of thyroid treatment or another. But it's unlikely to be due to poor regulation of NDTs or inaccurate/inconsistent measures of the active element of the tablets - such allegations were deliberately put about some years ago by 'interested parties', shall we say, driven by the need to discredit NDT in favour of Levothyroxine. They were proven unfounded. It is Levothyroxine in fact, that has been subject to several recalls.

I believe that Canada has its own shortage of Cytomel and that stocks aren't expected to improve until mid-Feb 2019
