Much better written than the Telegraph article earlier this week as well, even if it's only in a local paper:

A lot of local newspaper article are syndicated across the UK. They can have pretty large coverage. So not insignificant. :-)

That's a much more informative article than the Daily Telegraph

Well done to Tara and Tracey and all the Norfolk group

I'm one of the 2 Norfolk people in the article! Thanks everyone! Yes the Telegraph wan't very helpful at all, as it completely understated the enormity of the problem. Our regional health correspondent is good. She's planning a series of articles, with the next ones concentrating on patient stories, probably on an individual basis. She likened our situation to the Blood Contamination and the Mesh scandals, and suggests our story will grow like theirs.

It takes time and perseverance, but people need to do this all over the country. Go to the local paper, radio and TV. Get this out there everyone PLEASE. Send them the link to the Lords dossier which is now public bit.ly/LiothyronineDossier2018

In Norfolk we also got a local radio interview! It's all possible, you just have to do it! It is much easier if you can do it with another/ other local patients too.

Thanks for coming forward! I'm thinking of sending the article to my MP, as it explains the issues very well. I hope it has brought more people round to be sympathetic towards us!

Yes by all means send it to your MP. Although almost every MP contacted (I know of approx 80) has been fairly useless. May be better to send to CEOs of CCGs, and Endo departments, and local radio and TV.. media seems the best way to ram this home.

Have you read the dossier requested by the Lords and now available publicly?

It's too big too email as a document, but here's the link to it bit.ly/LiothyronineDossier2018

I can also send you the press release issued in connection with the dossier, if you p/m me. It acts like a short summary of the Lords dossier

Well my partner has a cousin who works for our local MP, so I'm hoping to maybe raise it with her first, and she can then flag it when I do write in :)

Well done to you and your group.

I would like a copy of the press release if you would't mind sending it to me? I'll PM you.

I've ended up reading all the case studies on the full study. It's absolutely shocking isn't it, the state the NHS will let us live in. Yet there are drugs and schemes and pointless CBT for all sorts of things that could just as well be done without.

RedApple thank you, that'll be great. I'll do that today
