Very frustrated with thyroid medication

Hi everyone. I’m new here, just discovered this site earlier today. I had total thyroidectom 15 months ago, haven’t been well since surgery. Difficulty regulating Levothyroxine. Gained 10 pounds since surgery, retaining lots of fluids, especially around abdominal region. I have Lyme disease and is thinking that this is interfering with the absorption of the med. tsh <0.01, t3 2.7, t4 16. Presently taking Levo 0.112 plus Cytomel 5mcg. Would appreciate some feedback. Anyone out ther with Lyme and thyroid issues? I’m desperate to get my life back.

Thanks, Rosebud1955.

I'm afraid you're going to have to give us the ranges for those results, for anyone to understand them. Ranges vary from lab to lab. And, I don't understand your levo dose. Is that 112 mcg?

You're not on a very high dose. How do you take it? On an empty stomach, leaving at least one hour before eating or drinking anything other than water? Do you take any other medication at the same time? Do you take both your levo and T3 in the same way?

What time of day was that blood draw done? Was it early morning and fasting? TSH is highest early in the morning. :)
