Hi all I’ve been taking aloe Vera for 2 weeks because a friend recommended it trouble is I’m worried as I’m taking thyroxine as well, I noticed I’m losing a bit of hair more than usual can any one help

I find the same with Brazil nuts. I take two a day now for the selenium content but I was having 5. My hair started falling out in clumps which I think was too much selenium. Now I’ve cut back it’s all gone back to normal.

Except that the majority of Brazil nuts contain little selenium these days. does it say on the packet that they are grown in selenium-rich soils?

Not looked to be honest. But I’m ever hopeful that they are.

Unless you're very fond of Brazil nuts, there's not much point in eating them if they don't have much selenium in them. I think it would pay you to find out. If not, you'd be better off taking a pill.
