Gaining weight like crazy - have no thyroid due to cancer

I have been trying for 6 years to get my body normal and switched doctors often to try and get help. I am 30 years old. After having my thyroid removed for cancer 6 years ago, I started on Synthroid in 2012 and gained weight and had depression. I was on 150 mg of synthroid and my blood showed free t3 was 4.1 (range 3.5- 6.5) Free t4 was 23.7 (range 10 -25). I was feeling very sick. When they put me on 125 mg synthroid plus 10 mg of T3 my scores were free t3 of 5.1 and free t4 of 16.5. I was still gaining weight and puffy. In 2016 I switched to dessicated thyroid of 180 g and 15 g of t3. I had blood results on free t3 of 8.8 and free t4 of 18.3 but could only lose weight by going on extreme dieting and lots of work-outs daily. I went to another doctor after extreme dieting and he has now changed my meds. In September he reduced all my meds down to 150 mg of dessicated and 10 mg of t3. My scores at end of September were: TSH climbed from .01 to .07, free t4 of 9.9 (range 10 to 25) free t3 3.4 (range 3.5-6.5), total t3 of 1.4. He siad he was getting a baseline and then upped my dessicated for October to 175 mg dessicated and 10 mg of t3 and my results at end of month were free t3 3.9, free t4 of 9.6 and total t3 of 1.5. (range 1 - 2.8)

I am gaining 5 pounds in a week on my body that was 130 pounds and now is 145 pounds. Today I took an extra 10 mg of t3 and now I am super anxious.

My doctor says I have adrenal insufficiency and so has me taking some adrenal support pills. Also taking some estrogen pills plus a progesterone cream. My hormones prior to him prescribing these supplements were:

Estradiol 11 (range 1.0- 9.0)

Progesterone 95 ( 50 -250)

Testosterone 110 ( 18 - 50)

DHEAS 7.7 (1.2 - 8.0)

Cortisol AM 4.0 (1.8 - 12)

Cortisol noon 1.0 (.55 - 2.8)

I am so confused. Should I continue to work on the estrogen and progesterone, yet ignore the testosterone and that will address my weight issues. Or does it look like my thyroid meds are wrong? I have been trying this past week to keep myself in ketosis on a ketosis diet and there is no help with weight doing that either. I am going crazy. Can you advise on what I should be changing?

I live in Alberta Canada and would welcome if anyone knows of a great doctor in my area.

Thanks, meg

Does your doctor know that once taking any form of T3 then your results are read differently. SO your TS should be suppressed, FT4 can be lower in its range but FT3 should be high in its range. Do your doctor shouldn't be decreasing your medication and may be you will then need and increase once it's settled down again.
