The research team in the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford, are current working on The Rare Cancer Project, a European funded initiative. They are conducting a trial in an effort to find and develop innovative solutions to aid the current disadvantages rare cancer patients face.
As part of this effort, they would like to involve patients at the planning stage and to consult with them in order to improve the patients' experience. They are conducting a survey of patients' experiences in clinical trials as well as holding two small group meetings (one in London and one in Manchester). The meetings will be around mid-November and the beginning of December and will take place on a week day (dates to be confirmed).
They have ask us to let everyone know about the survey and the meetings.
The meetings will be strictly confidential and will only be used for the research purposes of The Rare Cancer Project, University of Oxford. Traveling expenses will be reimbursed.
