Test Results for Sjogrens

What do you get out of these test results, I was tested to see if I have Sjogrens?

I have had problems with blocked saliva glands for the last four years. Over the last couple of years I have had blurry eyes that are helped with eye drops and I get a very dry mouth and am constantly sipping water which has been for as long as I can remember.

I am hypothyroid and have been for nine years

Just wondering what your thought/advice would be

Thank you

Hi

There are no specific sjogrens tests in that report so can’t say. However your ESR is raised which is a sign of inflammation and your White cell count is on the low(ish) side so could be something going on - eg could be a virus or something.

For sjogrens you would need ANA & anti Ro & La tests done. I’m no expert but there is a separate group for sjogrens you could contact.

Good luck.

Thank you for getting back to me. I am sure when the nurse who took my blood reeled off what they were testing for ANA was one of the things she said. Hopefully when I see the doctor this week he has more results for me. If not back to square one 😕
