Hey everyone, can anyone take a look at my medichecks results, taken last Thursday and tell me whether it is advisable to increase my levothyroxine dosage by 25 mcg (as advised by the British Thyroid Organisation) as I am pregnant. I’m 5 1/2 weeks.

Results;

TSH 1.34 (0.27-4.20)

Free Thyroxine 21.6 (12-22)

Free T3 4.31 (3.10-6.80)

I do have Hashimoto’s, I feel fine when my t3 is 4.31. Still would be colder than most people however

Your TSH is below 2.5, as long as it stays below 2.5 for the first six months and below 3.0 for the last three months all is fine. The foetus relies primarily on T4, it converts it to T3 as and when it needs it. Your fT4 is good.
