Levothyroxine new formulation

Hi everyone,

I have recently had my Levothyroxine 100 repeat and it’s a new maker TEVA also NEW FORMULATION i’m feeling so tired and drained since taking this and wondered if anyone else feels the same.

Hi Benadrove5. If you put TEVA Levothyroxine into the search bar you’ll find lots of people have had similar problems. It’s best to stay with the same brand. Good luck!

Yes mine has changed to Teva & am exactly the same absolutely shattered feel like a zombie back to see doctors again waiting for private blood test results to come back first

Yes I was given Teva New Formulation earlier this year,.became very unwell,.so fatigued, heart palpitations,.pains in stomach, really bad headaches. Get a new script from GP and tell pharmacy not to give you Teva anymore as they make you I'll. Also fill in the yellow card on line with side effects you have experienced. Get off them as soon as you can.

Yes feeling worse by the day going for bloods today sweating every morning now muscle weakness has anyone else had this beginning to worry me just so tired am on my third week.

Yep. Lots of issues with Teva. I just took mine back to the chemist and they changed it.

I am having same problems with teva liothyronine, had always taken Mercury with no problems, with teva having tingly skin, weight gain and sudden tiredness, it is like the tablet has no strength.

Reading everyone else’s comments I am obviously the exception as I haven’t had any problems with Treva.

As with so much to do with thyroid - we all vary.

Although there have been an awful lot of people who do not get on with Teva Levothyroxine, a few have found it acceptable or even the best UK product!

Hi,

Had my bloods done Serum TSH 0.91.. Serum free T4 level13.1 don’t know if this means anything to any of you don’t understand the results..took the TEVA new formulation back to chemist and changed it back to old one..must say no sweating last night legs still feeling strange like muscle weakness must see doc to sort these numbers out..
