The antibody test for Graves disease -Thyroid-stimulating immunoglobulin (TSI)/Thyroid stimulating hormone receptor antibody (TRAb)
Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies are found raised in Hashimoto's disease
Thank you Seasidesusie, I have Graves though- do I also have Hashimotos?
No. TPO is autoimmune thyroiditis (hashimotos). TRab or TSI antibodies are Graves. It is possible to have both Graves and Hashis.
Hello there, I have both but they cannot run together at the same time,😊
I have high TPO but there has been no mention of Hashimotos. Would there need to be other issues for this to be diagnosed?
