Can anyone tell me if there is a pharmacy in London that can obtain Mercury pharma t3?

My usual pharmacy cannot get it from their usual supplier.

I always get mine from Boots. I hope there isn’t a problem with supply. Can’t stomach Morningside.

I was able to get mine from Asda. It wasn't available from AAH but one of their suppliers had it in stock. Good luck!

What's AAH?

It's one of the main wholesalers providing medicines to pharmacies.

Part of the giant Celesio group which includes Lloyds (and now the former Sainsbury pharmacies). You can often see their vans delivering to, for example, Tesco and Asda. In turn, it is part of the American McKesson Corporation.

I don't live in London, but my local Boots always gets it for me, so I presume you would be able to ask in your local branch.

Hi Muffy. Can I ask which branch of boots you obtain it from?

When I had problems getting Mercury Pharma (rather than Teva which my local pharmacy kept giving me), I too tried Boots and had no problems. Someone told me that they also run the warehouse that supplies MP which is why getting it via Boots is no problem (something like that anyway!)

I live in Chelmsford, but always ask them for Mercury Pharma and they get it in the next day.

Just went to boots and they said they can only get in powder or injection format?!

Can I ask which exact branch you go to?

I might have to make a journey 😞

Why don't you try ringing other Boots branches in your area and ask if they can get Mercury Pharma Liothyronine 20 mcg tablets. I always tell them, that as I split my doses, I can't take any of the others which you have to dissolve in water. I am sure that you will find one fairly local to you who will do so. Silly to travel to take in the prescription and then to have to travel back again another day to collect it.

I see that beh1 also gets their's from Boots.

Any luck with your prescription?

Still no luck at the moment.

Boots can't get it for me.

That's strange as three of us that replied to your query all get ours from Boots.

Yeah. It'd probably help if someone could tell me a specific branch.....
