T3 Prescription Question

I have emailed one of the pharmacies listed on the TUK website but have not had a response. I wonder if anyone on the forum could advise.

I have a private prescription for T3 which simply states "Liothyronine 25mcg daily x six months". However, the Thybon Henning is for 20mcg - will this cause me a problem with them fulfilling the prescription? I don't want to post the prescription to them if they won't administer it.

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks.

I think it best if you contact the suppliier first. Usually if 20mcg is stated they wont prescribe 25mcg or vice versa.

Okay, thanks, I thought that might be the case but haven't had a response to the email I sent to the pharmacy. I'll try and get a new prescription. Thanks for the reply.

Yes that's no good

prescription should read

Liothyronine 20mcg x 100

Boxes of Thybon Henning are in 100 tablets.

So you could get 200 tablets
