Allergy Advice

It seems I’ve developed an allergy to thyroxine despite taking it for a few years. Allergy consists of torso hives and rash on chest and neck, and other potentially more serious issues (but not confirmed that they are indeed associated). GP has prescribed steroids to get rash under control, and given different brands of thyroxine to try (I take 75, so a 50 and 25 - both are different brands with different ingredients). New brand are also different with different ingredients. I’d rather not experiment and get it wrong, so looking for advice on what brands to avoid (have caused others to have reactions - am aware that everyone is different and I still could have issues but maybe your info could help). Old brands: Teva/50m (has acacia), Actavis/25. New brands: MercuryPharma/50 (has acacia) Wockhardt/25. I’ve noted acacia ingredient as others have mentioned that - not sure that’s the issue though. When living in another country I took Armour which I liked and had no issues with but not prescribed here. Appreciate any info you want to share.

Same here. Especially the chest/neck rash, after 30 minutes from t4/t3 combo (Novothyral) dosing and lasting one hour or something like this. I wasn't severely undermedicated but, I think, unbalanced. It went away at some point, after a few months.
