Medichecks blood test kit

Hi everyone,

I've finally done a Medichecks blood draw and have it all ready to go. What do you all do about ensuring it arrives the next day? Do you rely on Royal Mail and just pop it in the nearest post box, or do you take it to the Post Office and pay for guaranteed next day delivery? i would be very grateful for some guidance.

Incidentally, just in case anyone else is as nervous about it as I was, I was surprised how very easy it was. I was very apprehensive about it but the lancet is very effective and I didn't find it painful at all. I was very tempted to get venous blood drawn but am so glad I didn't - much more convenient to be able to do it yourself.

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the lovely weather.

Best wishes

Caroline

I've done 3 now and sent them all using the first class envelope they include. No problems. I did get proof of posting just in case it went missing. Not that it would do much other than allow me to claim a small amount back from the post office.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. If you've done 3 with no problem then that's pretty good. I'll do the same.

Thanks again.

I like to get it posted by wednesday/thursday you don't want it getting stuck in the system overthe weekend.

Same as above from me too - but avoid the end of the week to ensure a quick turn around for results. Never had a problem and I've done a fair few through Medichecks. A Doctor will look at your results and will comment but do also post your results on here to for further clarification which has helped me no end!

Thanks Bella. That's reassuring to know. I will definitely be posting my results when they come through. As you say, this site is so helpful - with GPs being so ill-informed, we would be totally lost without all the expert advice we can get here.

I am so grateful for everyone's help. Hope you are doing ok.
