Not a problem. It’s me with the Thyroid problem.

My wife had recent blood tests. Not for Thyroid problems. She is generally very healthy.

I’ve read on this forum that TSH should 1. It’s very confusing.

THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE 3.53 mIU/L 0.27 - 4.2

FREE THYROXINE 17.9 pmol/l 12.0 - 22.0

The aim of a "treated hypo patient" generally is for TSH to be 1 or lower with free Ts in the upper part of their ranges, if that's where the patient feels well.

If those are your wife's results and she feels well with no symptoms of hypothyroidism then that's probably normal for her. Generally, no-one knows their "normal" levels as we're not tested for a baseline when we're healthy.
