Yesterday I prepared and applied magnesium oil and it helped my legs drilling pain during night ... But I have some doubts...

1. First time alone it gave tingling sensation then it didn't...!

2.then after it got dried it didn't give me white residue as every one said...

3. Totally how many sprays can one spray in a day in total ?

4.if suppose 20 sprays allowed in a day, can we spray like 10 at one time and next 10 later Wil it get same effect or 20 sprays at the same time?

5.and at what places can we spray it in the body...

6.does it help with menstrual cramps ?

Pls who use magnesium oil reply 🙏

Hello Amy1311,

The tingling/burning sensation is often due to you having very low magnesium. I buy my magnesium oil from amazon and I do not get a white residue but it does feel a bit sticky. The amount of sprays depends on how concentrated it is. My magnesium states that 8 sprays is equivalent to 100 MG, daily intake for magnesium can be up to 350 MG. I don’t know if yours is the same though. I personally feel that it is best used at night as magnesium helps relax and creates a great relaxing experience. But whatever works for you is fine you can spray some in the morning then the rest at night. I would suggest spraying it in large areas such as legs, arms etc then message it well on the skin. Do not get any in sensitive areas as it may sting very bad. Since it is a relaxant I think it would help some with cramps but I have no idea. If this is your first time using magnesium oil please be mindful and go very slow, too much can be bad as you do not know your levels. Hope some of this helps!

Oh I see, it should be ok. As long as you don’t have a negative reaction to it then it should be fine. I like to spray some on the back of my neck and my temples when I get tension headaches and it really helps. Along with this, my anxiety has decreased which I believe has to do with magnesium. I’m glad you found my comment helpful.

Well 1 ml = 8 sprays = 100 MG of magnesium. I think sticking to 16 sprays = 200 MG would be good. 8 sprays in the morning and the other 8 at night. Or you can do 8 sprays at night on your arms and 8 sprays on your legs. You should be fine, but I’m no expert!

I have only used it once as it made my knees red, puffy, very sore and itchy. They were like that for two days! Does it do this every time I wonder or does the body get used to it?

in reply to NeonkittyUK

For me when I first sprayed it yesterday on my lower legs fully I got itching and small red bumps.. which subsidized soon... Then I sprayed on stomach , hands nothing happened.m.

I will try it again but as I just had my knee injected with hydrocortisone I will leave it for now. Hope you feel some benefits.

I have a normal reading for magnesium but read it helped relax at night and ease the knees.

I tried magnesium oil on myself & my husband but we found the feel after spraying was very unpleasant as well as itchy.

We now use oral magnesium bisglycinate, the chelated form.Like the ferrous bisglycinate form of iron I take,we find this gentle on the digestive tract, even though we take a 500mgs in one capsule at bedtime,So much less hassle for 2 folk in their late 60s with memory issues!

I sprayed on calves stomach nothing happened but while I sprayed on knees I got full red bumps y ?
