Hi lovely people

So asked for all Thyroid testing and antibodies and got this......

This is my second post and thought i would share; as ref for asking GP for bloods in UK :-(

Now having private testing as have many symtoms of underactive thyroid and what to know if this is my Fibro/ME or Thyroid issues

Anyone know if any of these results useful on my journey to find answers?

Thanks for your feedback :-) xx

Not easy to read with the page been on its side and on my phone I can't see much of it but TSH is the only thyroid reading you have.

You need TSH, FT3, FT4, antibodies and useful to add Vit D, B12, folate and ferritin as these 4 help your thyroid to work better, help with conversion and also can help with some of your symptoms.

Hi Silverfox7 ; yes only TSH which is not what was asked for but they refused to do the rest do i have now just done a private on with Medicare and sent off today :-) Thank you x

These are hard to read why don't you get a Blue Horizon test No 11. this would give you all of the results you need.

Just completed on with Medicare today so hope this will help to determine if there is an issue ..thanks :-) x

Don't forget Vitamin D when low this can cause aches and pains too. Explain what you are taking if anything at present please.

Sea Kelp standardised 1%iodine

Did you have iodine level tested? We should only supplement with iodine if tested and found to be deficient. Iodine is anti-thyroid and used to be used to treat overactive thyroid.

Are you taking K2 with your Vit D if not you should be

There are important cofactors needed when taking D3

vitamindcouncil.org/about-v...

D3 aids absorption of calcium from food and K2-MK7 directs the calcium to bones and teeth where it is needed and away from arteries and soft tissues where it can be deposited and cause problems.

D3 and K2 are fat soluble so should be taken with the fattiest meal of the day, D3 four hours away from thyroid meds.

Magnesium helps D3 to work and comes in different forms, check to see which would suit you best and as it's calming it's best taken in the evening, four hours away from thyroid meds

naturalnews.com/046401_magn...

Check out the other cofactors too.
