I have an endo but have to pay privately for t3. Normally180 tabs from boots for 288. New prescription today and price from boots 1998 ! Yes 1998 pounds I can’t afford that but the t3 is working wonders. Can anyone help with alternatives ? I am now desperate.

Big pharma are ripping the nhs off!!! I know your was a private script but the price of meds on the nhs is rocketing right across the board due to greedy big pharma. Its disgusting!! Just cant understnad hiw the nhs is letting them get away with it......

With help from information given by TUK I persuaded my local pharmacy to use an IDIS account to get Thybon Henning T3 for me. It’s treated as an unlicensed drug. It costs about £60 a packet. More than overseas but convenient. There is information available. Maybe post again asking for details of an IDIS account? I’m afraid I don’t remember details now. Good luck.

Hi again. I searched IDIS using the search box, top right of the screen and found a post giving their phone number and details of their service. Give it a try. Independent chemist worked for me. I took her a bunch of flowers as thanks. I was so relieved to find an easy source.

Hi! I’ve just started on T3 and bought my first couple of weeks from Boots - thought I’d look into getting it somewhere else if it works! So very interested to hear about the IDIS option, thank you guys!!

I have a private prescription from my endo which my GP has authorised the dispensary at her practice to fill as long as I pay for it. This seems fair to me as it is costing the practice nothing. £44.44 for 50 (20mcg) scored tabs which are easily divided with a pill splitter.

I send my UK prescription for 20mcg Liothyronine to a pharmacy in Germany. I pay €30 plus €5 postage per order for 100 x 20mcg Henning Thybon tablets. You order via their website, then post them the prescription, and they post or courier the T3 to you. All totally above board. You may be able to find a pharmacy in another EU country which works out even cheaper.

You can get Liothyronine from Bulgaria £18 for 100 tablets. You have go search the internet a bit and may have to look at some body building websites as they use t3 to 'cut up' prior to shows.

Be careful if you opt for purchasing from bodybuilding websites. T3 is notoriously counterfeited and could be anything which raises your metabolism, such as speed - which certainly would not be good for You!
