Hi! I've been trying to deal with my Hashimoto's and UAT and all its problems with my own research and help on here and other forums but having a hard time still in getting healthy and feeling the best I can. So I have given up on my doctor who I can't even get an appointment with and who really doesn't seem to understand enough about it and booked an appointment at the Natural Practice in Winchester with Dr. Willis. Has anyone met him/ had an appointment with him? Besides the form they want me to fill in with medical history, what else do you think I need to take/ask? Thanks!!

Appointment with Dr. Bernard Willis
If there is any family history with the thyroid then let him know. Write down anything you want to know, mind can go blank if you are nervous. Also if he mentions anything you don't understand then ask him to explain more. Be completely honest and tell him about all your symptoms even if you don't think they are relevant. In fact it would be a good idea to print out the symptoms list from the Thyroid Uk site who run this forum and tick off the ones you have. That might help him to decide your best treatment. Take along any recent tests and if you can remember jot down any comments your doctor said and if you changed dose etc. If you doesn't agree with what he did he may well be more explicit when he comments.
Hope it goes well and let us know how you get on.
