Newbie. Any advise would be much appreciated

Morning, i'm quite new to the site but find all the posts so informative. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 12 years ago. I've been taking levothyroxine 100mcg and this has probably stayed the same dose all these years (apart from in the beginning when they had to find the right dose for me). The last two years i have just been struggling so much and the symptoms seems to feel worse than it ever did. I got my levels checked last year Feb and was told that all levels were normal and that's where it was left - so no further investigation or advise on what to do about the fatigue, cold sensitivity, muscle pain, hairloss etc. I had another blood test done two weeks ago and have yet not heard anything from the GP apart from that all is okay when I called up to ask about my results. I managed to get a copy of the results and once again, because everything is within limits that's where it's left at again and i have to just keep on struggling. I would really appreciate any advise on what I can do to alleviate some of the symptoms at least.

Blood results as follows:

Thyroid autoantibodies 16

Serum 25-HO vit D3 level 61

Serum Vitamin D2 level <5

Serum adjusted calcium 2.13

Serum cholesterol 6.1

For the rest of the results I've uploaded a picture.

I would appreciate any help or advise!

Well the NHS tends not to test FT3 which is the most active hormone every cell needs . It may be that you are not converting FT4 to FT3 very well. You may need to have private testing.Medichecks usually have deals on a Thursday.

Your thyroid results are very similar to mine when I was still symptomatic. You need FT3 tested because, as Treepie says, you may not be converting T4 to T3 (which was part of my problem).

Most labs don't test FT3 even when requested by a GP, my lab tests FT3 if TSH is suppressed. Your best bet is to get a thyroid bundle from Medichecks or Blue Horizon.. Don't test FT3 on it's own, it must be do either at the same time as FT4 to see how well, or not, you are converting.

Medichecks Thyroid Monitoring or Blue Horizon Thyroid Check Plus 3 are the tests you need.
