MY LATEST THYROID BLOODS-HELP🌟🌟

Hi all, these are my latest bloods from last week.

Tsh-1.13 (0.350-4.94)

Ft3 3.5 (2.6-5.7)

Ft4 12.8 (9.00-19.0).

T4 dose select from-not stated to be on thyroxine?? Lab suggestion ? Dont know what that implies.

I have felt rough over the last few days, i have been on 2.5 mg of carbimazole since christmas- yet to see endo again. I know my frees are still low and need to come up more to be optimol but my tsh is looking alot lower from januarys tsh-2.26 but frees in december were ft3 4.4 and ft4 12.8.( ft4 as not budged and ft3 has gone lower!!)

Just wondering is my dose incorrect by them levels-as if i reduce tsh will go lower and frees should come up but do i need tsh any lower?just concerned-help!!🌟🌟x

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. While I am clearly not qualified to advise you on your test results I have read that Carbimazole can have some side effects for some people. Wiki recommends seeking medical help if you are suffering with a sore throat or fever. I hope you feel better soon

Thankyou but no not suffering with that. Ive been on carbi since july 2017. Just feeling rubbish at moment with palps, breathy etc. But thanks.

It really doesn't matter what your TSH is. TSH doesn't make you feel anything. It's the FT3 that is important, and that is low,

Thankyou GG, im still on 2.5 mgs, would you say another dose reduction would lift it and the free 4 as i did feel better when ft4 was around15.xx

Logically, it should allow it to rise, but how low can you go? I would have thought that the next stop was no carbi at all!

I think endo said every other day then try for nothing but you can stay on it for 12 months or more he said. Not that he talks any sense!! Think he is still finding maintenance dise.

Ah, ok. I didn't think of that. lol Well, in that case, I'd try a lower dose, if I were you.

Yes and hoping it rises frees more. How are you greygoose ?you seemed to have had a break from tuk for a short time i hipe you are well.xx

There are different dosages lije every other day or skip 2 days and so on.xx

I think 2.5 mgs is not budging the ft3!!
