Magnesium and leaky gut

Lots of discussion on these threads over leaky gut and the implications.

I wonder if everyone should start just with magnesium and let this help gut function and then test for vitamin / mineral deficiencies in case things get better and doses adjusted back.

This is not meant as advice but a question really. My multi vits have just run out over the past week and the only mineral I am taking is magnesium and I wonder what would happen if I just stick with this alone for a bit before adding the multi vit again.

Whereas 2 months ago all the zinc and selenium felt very much needed - now much less so and I wonder if better gut function implies better absorption of vits/mins from ordinary food.

Absolutely! Improved gut function equals improved vitamin mineral, trace element absorption and improved food nutrition absorption!!
